Follow the signs through Bradford to Salts Mill, at the major cross roads in Shipley (Fox’s Corner) which is the A657/A6038 junction and is highlighted on the map follow the directions below.
At Fox’s Corner you need to follow the A6038 towards Otley/Guiseley/Baildon. About 200m along the road there is a gyratory with traffic lights, with a road off to the left signposted for “Salts Mill”. Keep going straight on, over the River Aire into Baildon. Follow the road until the next set of lights after the river – you will go past a small shopping estate on the right, which includes Focus and Oddbins. Ensure you are in the left hand lane at this point, and at the lights (with the Junction pub between two main roads) bear to the left up the hill. Keep going up the hill till you reach the roundabout in the centre of Baildon village. You will need to park the car and walk to the church up either Westgate or Newton Way.
The larger car park in the centre is Ian Clough car park, which is off Hallcliffe – there are two entrances to this car park one on the right just after turning off the roundabout and the second one the next right just up the road before Ian Clough hall. The upper one leads to the top car park, which is connected to the bottom car park. The only exit is back onto Browgate at bottom of car park. There is also a small shoppers car park behind Martins newsagents (right turn after second left off roundabout). There is some on street car-parking on Westgate (first exit of roundabout), as well as along Newton Way, Springfield Road, and the Grove (See map below).
We would request that the parking in front of the church on Newton Way is left free for people dropping off disabled guests, and a similar request is made that the car park behind the church (entrance off Westgate) is left free for the wedding party cars.
